Programme for 2019/2020 - ABANDONED
The racing calendar for this runs from November 2019 to October 2020 and is based on the wish to have one race each week for the three principal classes sailed at Two Islands, the DF65, the DF95 and the IOM.
Each Wednesday we sail the DF65 with the event on the first Wednesday of each month counting towards the Classic Trophy.
Each Friday we sail the DF95 with the first event each month counting towards the Commodores Cup.
Each Sunday we sail the International One Metre (IOM). Events from November to April count towards TIRYC Cup and events from May to October the Conway Trophy.
To attempt to encourage new skippers on the last Sunday of each month (where practical) we sail DF95s (instead of the IOM) counting towards the TIRYC Bowl. That particular week of the month week we sail the IOMs on that Friday counting towards the Furzton Trophy.
In addition we have 12 Six Metre events throughout the year on Saturdays and several Wee Nip events also on Saturdays.
