ADDITIONAL PARKING INFORMATION

Confirmation of previously supplied information and additional notes regarding parking
  • Competitors planning to stay at the nearby Premier Inn are advised that parking arrangements have changed. You will be expected register your vehicle on arrival to obtain free parking for the duration of your stay.

  • We are also advised that for the Hungry Horse the arrangement is different: Again you will be expected to register on arrival for free parking only when in the building. Outside of that charges will apply on a scale which peaks at £10.00 for a 24 hour period.

  • The usual Parks Trust car park is introducing pay and display from the 25th July. The first two hours are free but charges apply thereafter. This does apply at the weekends so skippers need to be aware

  • We have reached agreement that cars can be parked on the Saturday and Sunday only in the car parking spaces for MIRKA head office (adjacent to the bandstand on Shirwell Crescent).  It is to be stressed that this is for the weekend only and Motorhomes must not use this facility. Parking is to be in the MIRKA marked spaces only (around 30 spaces) and other places must not be used
